1st Place Winner – Nicola Taggart, SCPHN Health Visitor Student, Manchester Metropolitan University, discusses her initiative to support speech, language and communication in children under 5 years through the implementation of a ‘Little’ Library’.
Rutendo Tafangombe
2nd Place runner up – Rutendo Tafangombe, SCPHN Health Visitor Student, Birmingham City University, discusses her proposal to include and engage fathers through the provision of information on their social, emotional and relationship roles and how these may impact on their mental health and the health and wellbeing of their babies and children.
Monika Kwoka
3rd Place runner up – Monika Kwoka, SCPHN Student Health Visitor, Canterbury Christ Church University, discusses her initiative of working in partnership with the Salvation Army and families who use the service, to transform families’ perceptions of health visiting, build relationships and increase trust and engagement in health visiting services.
