iHV Membership
iHV Membership is open to health visitors and anyone working with or interested in health visiting. iHV Concessionary – Student Membership
The iHV is a great place for student health visitors. We offer a range of resources and support, tailored to your needs through your SCPHN-HV course and onward professional development journey. Connect with a national health visiting community that lifts your learning, skills, and future career.
Join us at our special concessionary SCPHN-HV student rate (Please note: iHV Student Membership is only applicable for students undertaking a recognised SCPHN programme in the UK – and for the duration of the course).
Once you have qualified, your membership status will automatically transfer to standard ‘iHV Member’. Your concessionary rate will end on your date of qualification (see terms and conditions for more information)

iHV Concessionary – Retired Membership
Once a health visitor – always a health visitor. The iHV welcomes membership from retired health visitors.
Stay connected to the profession you’ve helped shape by joining the iHV at our reduced retired rate. Keep your voice, experience, and influence alive within a community that still values your expertise.
To apply for retired membership – applicants will:
- be a retired health visitor who is no longer working but wishes to remain connected to practice
- have, or previously had, an NMC PIN (health visitors will have had NMC Part 3 registration/ previously UKCC)

iHV International Membership
International membership is available for people living outside of the UK who want access to the latest research, reports, and resources for health visitors.
Membership Fees
International Membership is available on an annual basis with the fee being payable on application, and renewed on the anniversary of your membership confirmation. Payments are accepted via credit or debit card.
Your international membership fee is based on the income level in your country. Please select your country to see the cost in your local currency. Payments are taken in GBP - the amount shown is an estimate based on exchange rates from the last 24 hours.
iHV Corporate Membership
What is corporate membership of the iHV?
Corporate membership is available to NHS organisations, local authorities, and independent providers of health visiting services. Health visiting provider organisations have a legal responsibility to ensure that staff receive the necessary training to perform their role safely and effectively – and iHV membership is a trusted and cost-effective way to provide regular, updated CPD and support for health visiting practitioners.
The iHV is here to help you.
