What are the presentation opportunities for abstracts?

Abstracts may be selected for:

• A plenary keynote presentation – oral presentation in the main hall (live-streamed), followed by a Q&A panel
• An oral concurrent presentation – presentation in one of our concurrent streams, followed by a Q&A panel (selected sessions are live-streamed)
• A breakout oral presentation (a 6-minute speed talk) – concise presentation in a breakout session (selected sessions are live-streamed)
• A poster display – a visual display in the exhibition hall, ideal for data, project design and finding. 

Who can submit an abstract?

We welcome abstracts from:

• Health visitors leading evidence-driven projects or service delivery models
• Health visiting team members involved in service improvement initiatives tackling key public health priorities (e.g. oral health, healthy weight and nutrition, infant feeding)
• Researchers or academics showcasing cutting-edge developments in health visiting practice, innovation, or research.

How are successful abstracts determined?

All abstracts are subject to a peer review by a panel. Allocations within the conference programme and presentation opportunities listed above are based on scoring and topic relevance.
